About Me
Hey there!
My name is Shani and I’m the founder and creative designer behind Fig & Fletcher.
Fig & Fletcher offers an extensive range of handmade, bespoke acrylic jewellery, signage, decor and gifts.
Since purchasing my own laser cutting machine in 2020, all pieces are brought to life in my home studio in Adelaide. I design, cut, assemble and make all of my creations, so you can guarantee quality and unique pieces with great attention to detail.
Fig & Fletcher began in the same way many small businesses do. In 2015 my husband Mick and I had our first baby, Alex, and I was craving a creative outlet that would also help me generate an income source without having to spend time away from my family during those particularly special early years. Fast forward to 2021 and we welcomed our beautiful daughter Mia, all while Fig & Fletcher continued to operate and provide us with the balance needed as a work from home Mum.
I’ve worked with a multitude of medias over the years, but my passion is working with acrylic as it gives me greater control over the design process and the ability to ensure the highest quality results.
Come 2022 and Fig & Fletcher is a blossoming small business. You can find my work online, at various local markets (hubby often makes an appearance too!) and also at our wonderful stockists around Australia.
This year I look forward to expanding my range and the number of stockists who you can purchase my pieces through, as well as seeing Fig & Fletcher pieces adorning more beautiful humans!
